My online profile containing Examples of work and some reviews by previous customers. As you can see I have all the relevant qualifications, insurance and ID check in place.

Enhancing an original feature
A modern rear extension was added to the property using the same bricks as the original house but with a few upgrades

Brickwork features
The client asked for some kind of period feature to go next to his dining table.

Utilising space
Making the best use of a small spaceIt’s amazing how much you can fit in when correctly planned, this hotel style bathroom in a bachelor pad really shows that well, should have seen it before lol

Working with acrylic
Acrylic is wonderful, all the upstands and countertops in this picture were spare off cuts that I glued together and carefully hand crafted what was needed, with no visible joins

Correctly discharging waste from your property
This creation discharged the waste from a kitchen, toilet and bathroom into the correct manhole with no smelly gasses

Drainage
The rainwater from your roof and surface water from your patio has to go somewhere other than a manhole if possible as Thames water are struggling with the demands of an ever expanding population, where does it go I hear you ask…

Soak away pt 1
A soak away must be constructed to a size relative to the area to be drained and method of construction varies depending on soil conditions

Soak away pt2
For free draining soils I use a traditional mas fill and shelf method

Soak away. pt3
For badly draining soils a 1.5m3 soak away crate wrapped in geo textile must be used

Soak away. Pt4
Either way I like to top off with geotextile fabric situated 500mm below ground to allow the surface water to pass through freely and grass or plants can grow over the top yet the soak away remains solid

Soak away complete
When finished it is covered up it becomes invisible but you know that Ashworth construction has correctly discharged al of your kitchen waste and rainwater in accordance with the government laws and is built to last giving you piece of mind and no funny smells

Roof construction and covering
At Ashworth construction we can build you or recover your roof .Whether it be a simple lean to or complex pitched roof, rest assured you are in good hands.

Roofing styles
Being a traditional builder that utilises both old and new technologies,Ashworth construction can provide an aesthetically pleasing and reliable roof that is watertight and breathable. We do favour the cold deck as opposed to a warm deck whereas the insulation is placed between and underneath the rafters as opposed to a warm deck whereas it is placed above the rafters and in some cases as above I use both working together using modern venting techniques.

Warm deck
A classic example of a warm deck during construction

Traditional roofing using modern technology
A traditional plain tile roof, except I use modern breathable membrane underneath and a breathable ridge and hip vent kit on top.Coupled with a modern eaves felt support system and a plastic maintenance free verge system, your roof is guaranteed to keep you dry while preventing degradation of your roof timbers from moisture/poor air circulation.

Eaves felt support system
Here you can see the eaves felt support system that I use on all of my pitched roofs,This ensures that even if there is a problem in the future such as a broken tile, then the water will roll off the roof into the gutter and not build up in the eaves and cause damp.Another example of modern techniques improving traditional building styles
planning/calcs/regs-I have a good working relationship with local architects, engineers and of course building control

Replace conservatory with masonary and insulation
Much stronger,warmer and better looking

loft conversion

Boundary wall
If you’re looking for a certified Builder to manage a really complex job, consider this project a testament to my abilities to deliver quality results on time and within budget. I worked closely with my client to understand their needs and preferences, and the success of the outcome speaks for itself.

5meter kitchen/diner extension
While working on this project, I was very strict about the materials and footprint of my work. My client was interested in an economically and environmentally sustainable outcome, and I did everything to respect these wishes throughout the whole process in order to make sure they were satisfied with the outcome.

Conservatory replacement
For this particular project, I had to go through various compliance measures to make sure my work followed stringent industry standards. This was completed on time and within budget. It’s a great example of my dedication to deliver a quality product and see it through from start to finish despite complications in order to ensure full client satisfaction.

Custom acrylic greenhouse
Acrylic greenhouse with 9”masonry dwarf walls, insulated concrete base with integrated drainage, level threshold, canopy and weatherproof sockets.Having this in their back garden rejuvenated the passion of gardening for this particularly happy wheelchair user.Acrylic is a safer and stronger alternative to glass,The masonary and epoxy coated concrete floor added strength while crafted dovetail and mortice joints along with the finish really brought out the beauty of the wooden components .Coupled with a sliding door and large canopy this really is a user friendly design.

Greenhouse interior
Brick planters, potting area,LED Lighting, weatherproof sockets and hard wearing epoxy floor coating,an Ashworth greenhouse designed around your personal needs will not just enhance your horticultural experience but it will continue to stand firm for a very long time and compared to what is on offer in the market today,I think that you get bespoke quality at an affordable price

Example of what used to be
This is a classic example,a conservatory ,freezing in the winter and too hot in the summer usually built upon a slab 2ft higher than your garden
